BUA Chairman Rejects APC Finance Committee Membership
Abdulsamad Rabiu, the chairman of BUA Group, has declined his nomination to the finance committee set up by the APC, citing his preference for an apolitical stance.
The billionaire industrialist, a close ally of President Bola Tinubu, stated that he was not consulted before being included in the committee and cited his demanding schedule as a reason for not being able to commit time.
BUA Group emphasized Mr. Rabiu’s consistent apolitical stance and his focus on economic growth through business initiatives and philanthropy.
The list of committee members, including Rabiu, was posted by the APC despite his earlier statement declining the offer.
